  • Great fishing with Captain Colton and Hector. Rough conditions but the two stayed focused on productive fishing. We caught a Mahi on the troll. Then switched to kite fishing with live bait and the action started. We hooked into a big fish and fought it for a long while. With Colton and Hector giving instructions and moving the boat, the 30lb Kingfish was landed. Colton offered us several different methods of fishing and worked with us to target what we wanted to catch. Colton and Hector both have excellent communication skills and Hector filleted our fish with attention to maximize the meat.

  • Capt Colton and Hector took my family of five out yesterday for a 3 hour kids tour. They did an awesome job getting my kids involved (ages 12,9,9) and knew a ton about the various species we caught (we caught about 8-10 different types). I would highly recommend them to anyone coming down to Florida looking to mix in some adventure to their vacation.

  • Came down with my son during what is considered a slower time of year in January and still caught a bunch of fish. Hector and Maria were great! Hector kept moving and working the wrecks, trolling, live bait etc. We ended up catching Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, snapper, squirrel and other species more than 20 in the boat at the end of the day. Hector sent us down to the restaurant at the end of the marina called South Shore I believe it was called. They blackened the snapper and Mahi for us, both were delicious. It was a great day! One to remember. Thank you Hector and the Get Reel crew!

CAPTAIN COLTON

Captain Colton Yancey was born and raised in Florida and fell in love with fishing at a young age. He worked his way up from mate on a headboat to a licensed captain. With years of experience fishing the waters off Fort Lauderdale, he’s known for his local knowledge, professionalism, and ability to put anglers of all skill levels on fish. Captain Colton takes pride in running safe, well-organized trips that are especially welcoming for families and first-time anglers.

CAPTAIN HECTOR

Captain Hector was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where he grew up spending as much time fishing on the water as possible. After gaining hands-on experience working as a mate, he earned his captain’s license and continued building his knowledge on the water. Today, he enjoys sharing that experience with anglers from all over, helping guests enjoy unforgettable days fishing offshore.
